SECTION SF 30 BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE
SUMMARY OF CHANGES
SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE
The following have been added by full text:
Q1: Can or will the Awarded Contractor be able to Invoice bi-monthly?
A1: Bi-monthly invoicing is acceptable.
Q2: How many cash stations is the contractor responsible for during breakfast and lunch in the galley?
A2: The number of cash register stations is seven; see paragraph 5.6.1 (p.27). The Minimum Number of Cashiers on Registers chart indicates how many cashiers are needed at what times.
Q3: Can the NMCSD clarify the following statement listed under transition plan "If the Offeror's transition plan is based on retention of employees working for another contractor, letters of intent (LOI) signed by the Intended hires must be provided with the proposal". If the offeror plans to hire the incumbent work force does this mean the offeror would need LOI from each employee? If this is the case would the NMCSD reconsider the requirement for letters of intent since this contract is subject to a collective bargaining agreement (CBA)? Standard industry practice is to retain all employees covered under the CBA based on seniority.
A3: Yes, a Letter of Intent is required from each employee who was formerly an employee of a different contractor. No, the Government will not waive the LOI requirement in lieu of standard industry practice with respect to the CBA.
Q4: Is the contractor responsible for plating inpatient meals?
A4: No.
Q5: How many impatient served/plated each meal period?
A5: Approximately 100 -- this is relevant to the workload in the scullery.
