RFP N00039-18-R-0058
Q&A
27 JUNE 2018
1) Are the attachments ITAR/COMSEC/sensitive?
Answer: No, all documentation posted are open source information controlled by Department of Commerce in terms of export compliance. No information in the attached is COMSEC controlled. No sensitive information is included in the attached.
2) Requesting a 45-day extension to the N00039-18-R-0058- Battle Force Tactical Network (BFTN) Follow On solicitation.
Answer: No extension will be given for proposal submission since draft RFP was released (March 2018). Proposals are due by 10:00AM PST on Monday July 23rd.
3) Additionally, request clarification/additional information on the Zephyr SOS06553R called out in the BOM. We do not believe that the specified part number and company align. Our research has found that ADW Electronic Solutions made a product called the "Zephyr cPCI chassis" however that company does not seem to be in business any longer.
Answer: Zephyr products were subsumed by Schroff which has partnered with Hoffman to create Nvent. The Zephyr SYS06553R with JASPER PCI204-1022-4-SS power supplies was replaced with Schroff part number 24579-082 for a 2U 4 slot cPCI Chassis and concurrently delivered with two 13100-141 AC/DC power supplies installed.
