About this file
This document is the MSLC's (Massachusetts State Lottery Commission) response to questions related to the RFR (Request for Response) 1505 for MSLC Acrylic Dispensers and Displays. The MSLC is seeking to enter into a contract to purchase acrylic dispensers and displays for use at their retail sales agent locations. The MSLC expects to place two orders per year for the requested items, with each order being approximately half of the total quantity given. The RFR had an original bid opening date of December 16, 2014, but a request to extend the date by a couple of weeks to January 22, 2015 was denied. The MSLC will provide the artwork for any screen printing in EPS and JPEG formats, and the quoted prices will lock the bidder in for three years, with the MSLC having the option to extend the contract for two additional one-year periods.
Regarding pricing, the MSLC will negotiate the cost with the successful vendor for the fourth and fifth year option periods to achieve the best value. There is no mention of any set-asides, incumbents, or funding requirements and sources in the document.

Shipping
Would it be possible to provide estimated per order quantities to provide accurate freight included prices for each items? Or should the freight included pricing include full truckload shipments of product for the Single Dispenser 10 Game, 15 Game and 20 Game Dispensers and Keno Holder?
It is the intent of the MSLC to place two (2) orders for each item requested in this RFR and the orders will be approximately half of the total quantity given, for example: KENO table tent double display: it is the MSLCs expectation that two (2) orders each year: one (1) for 13,000 and one (1) for 12,000 will be most likely placed.

New MSCL Concept - Single Acrylic Dispenser
Does the new concept dispenser need the colored acrylic strips on both the front and back of the dispenser or just the front (customer view) if it's only for ascetics?
Yes, the MSLC should have the ability to add or remove the colored strips both front and back as the unit could be used in each configuration on retailers counters with the front both facing toward and away from the customer.

Yes.
