About this file
This is a Pricing Submittal Sheet Addendum for Solicitation IFB 8100 PDS1004 issued by the City of Austin for total waste management services at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). The solicitation requests comprehensive waste management services including labor resources, equipment rental, hauling and disposal, and ancillary services across multiple waste streams (trash, recycling, compost, and brush). The City has provided estimated annual quantities across five main categories: Team Lead and Team Member labor (approximately 16,390 annual hours), rental equipment including compactors, roll-offs, tippers, and various carts (ranging from 1 to 40 monthly units), hauling and disposal services for front-load and roll-off containers (estimated between 1 and 27 monthly hauls per item), and other services such as maintenance, deep cleaning, and equipment relocation (2 to 25 annual instances). Additional non-routine services are available as needed through a separate pricing category. The Procurement Specialist is Patrick Strittmatter, and the addendum is dated January 15, 2026.
Offerors must complete the pricing submittal sheet with hourly rates for labor, unit prices for equipment rental and hauling services, and a maximum markup-to-costs percentage not to exceed 20 percent for materials (estimated at $5,000 annually). All prices must be all-inclusive and account for administrative costs, overhead, setup fees, per diem, shipping, transportation, fuel surcharges, mileage, tolls, and any other expenses; the contractor shall provide all necessary tools, labor, travel, and equipment. The City reserves the right to award a single contract or multiple awards based on overall low cost, individual line items, categories, or any combination of criteria deemed advantageous. Failure to provide pricing for all applicable line items or to submit complete information may result in disqualification of the bid as non-responsive. A sixth category for non-specified services is provided for additional offerings but will not be evaluated for award purposes, though pricing will be included in the final contract.

The percentage markup to costs listed shall be the maximum amount offered for the category line throughout the term of the contract including any subsequent renewal periods, and are not subject to change. The invoice prices for these materials shall be based off a markup to costs paid by the offeror as indicated below. The percentage markup given should take into all costs (administrative, overhead, shipping charges, etc.) to deliver the materials to the Aviation campus. These costs shall be factored into the markup to costs rates and shall not be paid separately. Markup to costs shall be expressed in numerical terms and not exceed twenty percent (25 20%). A bid of '0' (zero) or left blank will be interpreted by Aviation as a zero percent markup to Aviation. For more clarity, the "markup to costs" entered below will be applied to the offerer's actual cost(s) paid for additional products ordered that are not listed in the other categories. It is not an additional markup to the items in the other categories.
The annual spending amount is an estimate and not a guarantee of actual volume. Aviation reserves the right to purchase more or less of these quantities as may be required during the contract Term. Quantities will be as-needed and specified by Aviation on each order. Enter your Markup to Cost in Column E.
