About this file
This is a Key Personnel Designation submittal for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the City of Austin, Texas, for industrial gases and cylinders. The document establishes the framework for maintaining continuity of key personnel throughout the contract term, requiring the contractor to retain assigned personnel or provide replacements with equivalent experience and competence. The City has designated Ryan Braziel (512-978-2039, ryan.braziel@austintexas.gov) as both the Contract Manager and City Contract Administrator/Procurement Specialist, serving as the primary point of contact for contract administration and oversight.
The submittal requires contractor acknowledgment that key personnel assignments will remain consistent unless circumstances necessitate replacement, which must be approved by the City and cannot be unreasonably withheld. The contractor must promptly notify the City of any personnel changes and obtain written approval before implementing replacements. This personnel continuity requirement ensures stable project execution and maintains established working relationships between the City and contractor throughout the contract's duration.
