INDUSTRY ONE-ON-ONES FOR QUESTIONS & ANSWERS FOR CONTRACTOR LOGISTICS SERVICES DRAFT REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL IN SUPPORT OF SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCES SUPPORT ACTIVITY ONE-ON-ONES. Special Operations Forces Support Activity (SOFSA) released its Contractor Logistics Services Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) on 17 May 2008 on the Federal Business Opportunities website. SOFSA supports the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), its component commands, its subordinate elements, others of the Department of Defense and elements of other agencies that support USSOCOM missions. The Government has decided to conduct one-on-ones with interested parties to gather industry inputs/questions prior to industry day and releasing the final RFP. The one-on-ones will be conducted June 12, 2008, starting at 8:00 AM, at 205 South Hoover Boulevard, Suite 210, Tampa, Florida 33609. The sessions will be one hour in length, and industry attendees are limited to four company representatives. Contact the POC for this action to set up the session time.
The main goal of the one-on-ones is to obtain industry inputs for the DRFP. Take note that this is not to be used to promote new business development or marketing pitches from industry, but as beneficial meetings to improve the Government’s DRFP. Responses are due NLT 1700 EST on 6 June 2008. If there is interest in participating in the one-on-ones, please contact Debra Nicholson, SOFSA KTR, (813) 282-8795, ext 6101, debra.nicholson.ctr@socom.mil.
