Summary of Duties: Performs one or more of the following duties: Scrubs, strips, waxes, and polishes floors using heavy (industrial-type) powered scrubbers and buffers. Vacuum cleans rugs, using heavy (industrial-type) vacuum cleaner. Adjusts, cleans, and oils these machines, and changes brushes, rollers, buffers, and other attachments on them. Washes and replaces Venetian blinds, changes light bulbs and washes ceiling fixtures and room partitions, using ladders and scaffolds. Moves heavy furniture, supplies and equipment. In living quarters, makes beds, changes linens and collects soiled linen. Keeps rest rooms in clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. Cleans, disinfects, and deodorizes lavatories, urinals, and toilet bowls. Cleans mirrors, sinks, and water fountains. Dusts ledges and woodwork. Summary of Duties: This is a training or worker position and may be tailored to fit any of the occupational trades.
Serves as assistant to a higher grade maintenance worker/mechanic in maintaining all equipment and facilities in optimum operating condition. Assists in the performance of one or more trade practices associated with occupations such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, and other related trades. Such assignments may include but not be limited to:
Assists maintenance workers in performing general maintenance, repair and/or alterations to such items as: doors, floors, floor covering, walls, ceiling, windows, electrical switches, receptacles and light fixtures, commodes, wash basins and showers. Summary of Duties: Operates farm-type tractors and towed or attached equipment such as gang mowers, aerators, plows, harrows, chippers, sprayers, disks, post hole diggers, front-end loading devices, movable dozer blades, and backhoes. Frequently operates towed or attached equipment from the seat of the tractor through hydraulic or mechanical controls. Equipment may be powered to maintain grounds by direct drive or a power takeoff. SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Incumbent is self motivated and committed to customer service. Job requires oversight of the day to day golf course operations including tee times and POS management, starter duties and controlling the pace of play. The Assistant ensures the pro shop is fully stocked, neat and clean and assists in merchandising ordering and receiving, tournament operations, coordinating schedules of inside and outside service staff.
Based on established policies, the assistant carries out assigned duties by applying an understanding of the interest and needs of program participants. Typical assignments may include; establishing schedules of events; applying rules and regulations, supervising junior golf participants and building a player development program. Schedules maintenance practices around member play and outings to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption to members. Oversees subordinates in proper and safe operation and maintenance of mechanical and power equipment. Plans and budgets for additional or replacement capital equipment.

Must display talent in the art of landscaping, planting, and growing of turf characteristic to golf courses.
