RFI235: Specification 01 32 20, part 3.2.B.3 requires aerial photographs, with “not less than 10 birds-eye aerial photograph monthly from a helicopter or low flying airplane”. With today’s technology and in an effort to curb cost, are there any restrictions in using Drone technology in and around the Point of Entry facility, for the aerial photographs in lieu of helicopter or plane use?

Response235: Aerial photographs may be taken with a drone if the drone is piloted by an FAA CFR 107 registered and licensed pilot for small unmanned aircraft. It will be the contractor's responsibility to perform all coordination with the all local, state and federal regulators and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. A copy of the drone pilot registration and license will be reviewed and approved by FAA prior to any drone flight.

Drones are not permitted to be flown over a federal building so the photos must be taken from airspace outside the boundary of the footprint of all buildings.

Scheduling of any drone flights must be approved by GSA and CBP.

A GSA or CBP representative will escort the drone pilot at all times and all photographs are subject to review and approval. The government reserves the right to delete any image that may contain sensitive or personal information.

RFI236: PUMP SCHEDULE: The number of pumps scheduled does not match the number of pumps shown on the two schematic drawings (M MJ 6 02 and M MJ 6 03). It is clear that these are the same pumps that were scheduled for the commercial building as all of the capacities match. Are the scheduled capacities correct for the MAIN building?

Response236: Please see Revised Sheet M-MJ-621.

RFI237: PUMP SCHEDULE: The schematic drawing (M MJ 6 03) shows 4 coil pumps. There are only 3 coils pumps scheduled. What is requirement for P-M4?

Response237: Please see Revised Sheet M-MJ-621.

RFI238: How many pumps are in the main building? Considering the duplicated tagging of PCWP-4,5 and PCHWP-4,5 and the unscheduled 4th coil pump, there are 5 pumps that may be missing from schedule if they have unique design points.

Response238: Please see Revised Sheet M-MJ-621.

RFI239: COMMERCIAL BUILDING: There is a Duplex Pressure booster shown on G CU 1 21 and in specification 221123-8. 2.12. There is no capacity information available in order to size the booster package. What is the GPM and Head requirement for EACH pump on this Duplex booster package?

Response239: 100 gpm 180 ft TDH 6 ft NPSH
