About this file
This is the Buy American Certificate provision (FAR 52.225-2) that requires offerors to certify whether their end products qualify as domestic end products under the Buy American Act. The provision requires offerors to list any foreign end products, including the country of origin and whether non-iron/steel products exceed 55% domestic content. Offerors must also separately identify domestic end products containing critical components.
The certificate appears to be included as part of solicitation 36C24225Q0235 for window leak repairs at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration VISN 2. While the Buy American requirements are detailed, the actual scope of work for the window repairs is not contained within this specific file.
