MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE GUNTER ANNEX ALABAMA
4 October 2017
RE: FA8771-17-R-1000
Industry Partners, As you all are aware, the Small Business Enterprise Application Solutions (SBEAS) team has released the solicitation for this effort. The purpose of this notice is to provide guidance to those Offerors who choose to hand deliver their proposals and “DO NOT” have existing credentials (CAC/Retired Military ID Card) to gain access to the facitily.
Below are the following methods of obtaining access to Gunter AFB:
1. Offeror can have a government employee sponsor them on base. Government employee must possess a “valid” CAC/ID. Visitors must be escorted by the Government employee at all times—one contractor may not sponsor another contractor;
2. Offeror shall submit ALL of the following information (see submission instructions below):
a. Name (First, MI., Last), if no middle initial, please specify.
b. D.O.B.
c. Driver's License Number and State of Issuance
Offerors shall provide information via email to AFLCMC.BES.SB_IDIQ_RFP@US.AF.MIL, no later than 10:00 a.m CST, 13 October 2017; this is to allow enough time to provide the Maxwell Visitor’s
Center the list of names for proper vetting in time for proposal submission. Be sure to request confirmation of receipt.
Again, this notice is only for those who do not already have valid ID to access the base.
Respectfully, SBEAS Contracting Team
