| Do Defense Transportation System (DTS) shipments need to be routed through the prime contractor facility? |
| Based on recent discussions with DCMA, the prime contractor is not required to bring DTS shipments into their warehouse. Material can be stored at the vendor’s facility while the prime contractor coordinates with DCMA for shipping instructions. Upon receipt of instructions, material can be shipped directly from vendor to customer. |
