This document outlines a solicitation for a small munitions trailers acquisition. The Air Force Materiel Command is seeking a firm fixed price IDIQ contract over seven years to provide two classes of munitions handling trailers. The basic contract period is two years for development and first article testing, followed by five one-year option periods for production quantities. The contractor must design, test, and produce MHU-110M and MHU-141 trailers according to technical specifications. Minimum order quantities range from one to 300 units per trailer per ordering period, not to exceed a total of 125 units for the first option or 300 units for subsequent options. The solicitation will utilize tradeoff best value selection between non-cost factors and price. The RFP is expected to release on November 30th 2018 with anticipated award from August to September 2019. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
