T-38 -33 Wing Assembly Synopsis
FA8208-19-R-0001
The 416th Supply Chain Management Squadron at Hill Air Force Base, UT has a requirement for the purchase of T-38 -33 Wing Assemblies NSN: 1560-01-527-3968. This effort is planned as a firm fixed price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with an initial 5-year ordering period and a single 5-year ordering period option with a 3 year delivery extension. This contract is full and open competition limited to qualified sources. Contractors wishing to become qualified must do so 60 days prior to RFP close. Contract award will not be delayed in order to provide a potential offeror with an opportunity to meet the standards specified for qualification. The acquisition is being synopsized under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336413, manufacturing aircraft parts or auxiliary equipment and the PSC is 1560.
This effort seeks to award a contract to a vendor who can manufacture, assemble, and deliver up to the estimated maximum quantity of 300 Wings at a full production rate of 4 wings per month over the term of this contract in accordance with Government standards and specifications defined in the Technical
Data Package (TDP).
The Technical Data for this acquisition is restricted by the Arms Export Controlled Act (Title 22 USC Sec
2751 ET Seq) or Executive Order 12470. Violators of these export controls laws are subject to severe penalties. Dissemination of the Technical Data Package is controlled under DODD 5230.25. Foreign participation is not authorized without the appropriate export licenses.
Source Selection: Tradeoff Procedures with Past Performance being significantly more important than price.
