Request for Information for Clinical Acquisition Support for Services (CLASS) Program

GENERAL INFORMATION
This is a Request for Information (RFI) only (as defined in FAR Part 10). Responses should include information identifying whether the offeror’s firm is a small or large business. This RFI is not a request for competitive proposals; therefore, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Air Force to form a binding contract. Companies that respond will not be paid for the information submitted except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in FAR 31.205-18, “Bid and Proposal Costs.”
BACKGROUND
A draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for the CLASS Program (FA8053-11-R-0002) was posted to FedBizOps (www.fbo.gov) on 19 November 2010. The draft RFP included a NAICS code of 621111.
GENERAL INTENT
The Air Force anticipates changing from the NAICS code of 621111 for the CLASS Program to NAICS 622110, size standard $34.5Mil in the upcoming final RFP. This RFI is intended to serve as a preliminary notification to industry regarding the NAICS change, and provides additional market research information for the CLASS acquisition.
The Air Force would greatly appreciate your participation in providing market research information regarding the NAICS change. Please follow the link below to provide feedback to the Air Force regarding the NAICS code change described above. Industry input is requested no later than Thursday, 10 February 2011.
