Grand View Gate Contractor/Delivery Driver Information Sheet

Hours of operation: 0600‐1600 Monday‐Saturday; Closed Sunday/Thanksgiving & Christmas o Once the vehicle has been vetted through the Grand View Gate, exit through the main gate is allowed

Busy hours are 0600 – 1200, with the busiest being 0700 – 0900

Heavier days are Tuesday and Thursday (regular restock/delivery days) 0600 – 0900

If after hours deliveries are required, please contact the Emergency Control Center at 828‐2256 to arrange entry o Allow up to 30 minutes for entry

All commercial, delivery and/or contract vehicles are required to enter through Grand View Gate

The following information will assist in the processing procedures for base entry:

Delivery drivers can obtain a pass to prevent repeatedly vetting an individual o Contact your Project Manager, Sponsor, or 366 Contracting Squadron for more information o Contractor DBIDS Cards are issued (if company delivering/picking up will be making multiple deliveries, a DBIDS pass for the duration can be issued instead of repeatedly vetting individual)

Delivery/Contract vehicles must have registration and proof of insurance

When delivering time sensitive cargo (asphalt, cement…) contact your Project Manager to arrange pre‐ vetting

Delivery drivers need to know where they are delivering i.e. a physical address or building number

Prior notification for large/numerous (+5) deliveries (Gate number: 828‐1290)

Contractors/Drivers should be aware of the background check restrictions o Base access requires vetting through the Idaho Law Enforcement Tracking System

The following are examples for denying base access:

Automatic disqualifiers for entry:

o Child molestation, any sexual offense, registered sex offender, assault with a weapon, arson, active warrants

Actions within the last 10 years:

o Drug dealing/manufacturing, possession/trafficking in stolen property, burglary, grand theft, carrying concealed weapon, unlawful possession of a deadly weapon, involuntary/vehicular manslaughter

Actions within the last 5 years:

o Forgery/Fraud, habitual drug offender (3X use of marijuana within 12 months), confinement for

12 months or longer (regardless of offense)
