About this file
The document is an Appendix A Cost Breakdown template for a construction price proposal, specifically designed for the Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command's Temporary Lodging Facilities (TLFs) renovation project. The template requires vendors to provide detailed pricing information across several categories including bonds and insurance, mobilization, architecture and engineering design, materials, equipment, labor hours, and miscellaneous charges, with space to document quantities, unit prices, and total costs.
The associated federal contract opportunity (Solicitation Number: FA302225R0001) involves standardizing ten TLF units across five buildings through comprehensive renovation, with a project scope focused on achieving consistent quality, finish, and sustainability. The procurement is valued between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, with a mandatory site visit scheduled for 09 April 2025 at 10:00 AM CST. Contractors must complete Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) training and obtain base access to participate. Proposals will be submitted electronically, with all Request for Information (RFI) submissions due by 12:00 PM CST on 14 April 2025.

| The purpose of the requested information in the attached worksheets is to assist government personnel in the review and evaluation of proposals submitted by offerors. Offerors are reminded that the responsibility for providing adequate supporting data and attachments lies solely with them. Further, the offeror must also bear the burden of proof in establishing reasonableness of proposed pricing; therefore, it is in the offeror’s best interest to submit a fully supportable and well-prepared cost proposal. The basis and rationale for all proposed costs should be provided as part of the proposal so that Government personnel can place reliance on the information as current, complete and accurate. Further, FAR 15.403-4 sets forth those circumstances in which offerors are required to submit certified cost or pricing data. (Updated Nov. 19, 2013) |
