About this file

This is a Design-Build Statement of Work (SOW) for a renovation project at Columbus Air Force Base (CAFB), Mississippi. The project involves converting two Temporary Lodging Facility (TLF) units in Building 7202 into an ADA-compliant reception area and renovated TLF. The scope includes comprehensive interior and exterior modifications to Unit 7202A, which will become the new Magnolia Inn reception area, and Unit 7202B, which will be renovated as a TLF.

Key renovation elements include demolishing and reconstructing interior walls, installing new electrical and communication systems, upgrading HVAC components, replacing flooring and wall finishes, installing new doors and hardware, updating plumbing fixtures, and ensuring ADA compliance. The project requires extensive work on lighting, fire protection systems, painting, and exterior improvements such as creating a new handicap van-accessible parking spot and sidewalk. The total Period of Performance is 365 days, with the work to be completed in accordance with multiple UFC, NFPA, and Air Force standards. The renovation aims to improve functionality, accessibility, and aesthetic consistency of the facility.
