About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for Draft RFP FA2823-25-R-0005 for Mobile Land Targets IDIQ contracts, dated January 15, 2025. The document contains two questions and responses regarding submission details for vendor feedback on the draft RFP.
The Q&A clarifies that responses to the draft RFP are due by January 27, 2025 at noon, with vendors to submit feedback via email to kristina.brannon.1@us.af.mil. The contracting officer explains that this is not the actual RFP, but rather a draft to gather vendor input on potential issues before releasing the final solicitation. The draft SF1449 indicates offers will be due 30 days from the actual solicitation release, and vendors are asked to comment if this timeframe is insufficient. The purpose is to allow the government to amend the RFP details based on industry feedback before posting the official solicitation.

FA2823-25-R-0005 – Draft RFP for Mobile Land Targets IDIQ Consolidated Requests for Information As of 15 January 2025
Question 1): The RFP closes on 27 Jan 2025?
Response 1): Yes, its just a draft RFP to get vendor insight on what you think of the proposed RFP and if you see any issues with it from your perspective. That closes 27 Jan at noon, and then we will use responses received to amend the RFP details accordingly and then once we get clearance to post an actual RFP that one will not be open for such a short period of time. The addendum in FAR 52.212-1 on the draft SF1449 has offers being due 30 days from solicitation. If that will not be enough time, please include that in your responses regarding the draft RFP.
Question 2): We need to email our responses to you, (kristina.brannon.1@us.af.mil)?
Response 2): Yes, please email me your responses.
