About this file

This document is a slide deck presented at the F117 Engine Sustainment Support (ESS) Industry Day 2 event held on August 5, 2024. It provides an overview of the upcoming F117 ESS contract opportunity from the U.S. Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Tinker Air Force Base.

The key details include the tentative acquisition schedule, with the Request for Proposals (RFP) expected to be released in April 2025 and contract award in May 2026. The contract will require the selected vendor to provide engine performance restoration and overhaul services, material management, and maintenance of a Serviceable Propulsion System (SPS) and War Readiness Engines (WRE). The contractor must meet a mean time between repair (MTBR) threshold of 5,500 hours. The presentation also covers the Bidders Library, which includes data on leading health indicators, service bulletins, and government-furnished property. Vendor questions can be submitted via email, and responses will be posted publicly on SAM.gov.
