About this file

This document contains an exhibit for a safety data sheet and information on a related federal contract opportunity for repair work at a naval facility in the Bahamas. The safety data sheet exhibit requires offerors to provide insurance information and OSHA safety ratings for the last five years, as well as a two-page narrative on their safety program and processes for overseeing subcontractors. The related federal contract opportunity is a firm-fixed price design-bid-build project between $25-$100 million to repair the primary pier at the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center in the Bahamas. Work includes removing the existing superstructure while retaining steel piles, constructing a closed pier structure with pipe piles and reinforced concrete, and installing utilities, lighting, and mooring systems. The Navy facility engineering command is the issuing agency.
