The contractor must provide equipment that enables clear two-way communications between security personnel, supervisors, and the DOT, including obtaining necessary FCC licenses and frequency authorizations. Cellular phones must have local area code numbers and unrestricted two-way communication capabilities. The contractor is required to submit a comprehensive listing of all radio and cellular equipment to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) prior to beginning work, ensuring full communication readiness for the security service contract.
