About this file
Exhibit 14J (A) details the Weapons Detection Training Program (WDTP) Non-X-Ray Screening Annual Refresher training requirements for Armed Contract Security Officers (ACSOs). The 8-hour training program includes administrative remarks, bomb component detection, terminology overview, pre-incident indicators, and lectures on walk-through and hand-held metal detector screening techniques.
The training requires participants to pass both written and practical examinations with specific performance standards: a minimum 70% score on the written exam, 70% accuracy in identifying pre-incident indicators, and 100% accuracy in detecting and identifying dangerous weapons or prohibited items. The training is designed to prepare ACSOs to effectively screen individuals using metal detection equipment, with a recommended ratio of six students per instructor.
