About this file
Exhibit 20 details the Department of Transportation's (DOT) mandated annual site-specific training requirements for Armed Civilian Security Officers (ACSOs). The contractor must provide 10 hours of training annually, with a minimum of 7 hours guaranteed. The training covers six specific areas: Active Shooter (4 hours) using a third-party vendor approved by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), Disability Awareness (1 hour) with DOT-provided instruction, Security Operations Center Training (2 hours) for SOC operators only, Security Awareness Training for Logical Access Accounts (1 hour), Controlled Unclassified Information training (1 hour), and Customer Service (1 hour).
The training is part of the broader DOT Armed Security Guard Services contract (Solicitation Number 693JK425R500004), which is an 8(a) set-aside procurement for security services at DOT headquarters facilities in Washington, D.C. The training requirements ensure that security personnel receive comprehensive, standardized instruction across critical operational and compliance domains, with flexibility for instructors to adjust timing while maintaining core training content and objectives.
