About this file

This document is a request for proposal (RFP) issued by the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) for 3D scanning services of various facilities managed by the TFC located throughout Texas, with most services taking place in Austin. TFC is seeking to obtain three-dimensional models of all building components, elements, systems, finishes, equipment, and furnishings for all buildings in TFC's building inventory. These models will be used for facility management, maintenance, operations, and future renovations. TFC anticipates awarding contracts to multiple vendors. The contract term is from the date the contract is executed until August 31, 2025, with an option to renew for two additional two-year periods.

The RFP outlines the scope of work, including developing comprehensive and accurate 3D models that are compatible with TFC's existing systems and software, and adhering to TFC's Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards. Respondents are required to attend one of the two mandatory pre-proposal teleconferences and submit proposals by August 9, 2024. Interviews with selected respondents will be conducted on August 23, 2024.
