About this file

This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) for 3D scanning services at various facilities managed by TFC, primarily located in Austin, Texas. TFC is seeking to obtain comprehensive 3D models of all building components, systems, and furnishings for its entire building inventory. The awarded contractor(s) will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment to develop the 3D models, ensure compatibility with TFC's existing software systems, and adhere to TFC's Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards. The contract term is from the date of execution through August 31, 2025, with options to renew for two additional two-year periods.

The RFP outlines a competitive solicitation process, including a mandatory pre-proposal conference, deadlines for questions and proposal submissions, and a schedule for interviews and contract award. TFC anticipates making multiple contract awards from this RFP. Pricing and set-aside requirements are not specified in the summary, but the RFP indicates TFC is seeking to comply with relevant state laws and regulations regarding historically underutilized businesses (HUBs) participation.
