About this file
This document is an attachment related to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) for 3D scanning services for various facilities managed by TFC, primarily located in Austin, Texas. The RFP seeks to obtain comprehensive and accurate 3D models of all building components, elements, systems, finishes, equipment, and furnishings within TFC's building inventory. These models will be used for the operation and maintenance of the buildings, to facilitate efficient facility management, and to enhance communication and collaboration among stakeholders. The RFP is open to multiple vendors, with a contract term of beginning upon execution and expiring on August 31, 2025, with options to renew for two additional two-year periods.
The attachment provides detailed instructions for respondents to provide pricing for various service components, including existing records evaluation, scheduling, site preparation, document production planning, 3D scanning, data integration, training, and closeout. Respondents are encouraged to provide their best pricing in the initial response, as TFC reserves the right to negotiate or request a best and final offer. The pricing can be in the form of lump sum or per unit based on anticipated labor hours, building size, or other definable units.
