About this file
This Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Certification document is required by the Kenton County Airport Board for the HVAC Controls and Infrastructure Upgrades project at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The certification requires bidding contractors to confirm compliance with anti-discrimination practices and federal civil rights requirements. Bidders must certify that they maintain a written policy prohibiting discrimination in all phases of employment, conduct periodic self-analyses or utilization analyses of their workforce, have systems in place to determine if employment practices are discriminatory against protected groups, and have established procedures for taking reasonable corrective action including goals and timetables when problem areas are identified. The certification document requires the bidding contractor to provide their company name, authorized signature with date, printed name and title, business address, and IRS Employer Identification Number.
Bidders must submit this completed certification form as a mandatory compliance requirement for the procurement. The EEO Certification is one of multiple mandatory certifications required for bid submission, alongside Affirmative Action Certification, Non-Segregated Facilities Certification, Non-Debarment or Suspension Certification, Disclosure of Lobbying Activities Certification, and Certification of Offeror/Bidder Regarding Tax Delinquency and Felony Convictions. This certification ensures that all contractors performing work on the federally-funded airport improvement project comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Airport and Airway Improvement Act of 1982, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
