About this file
This is a Task Assignment Change Order Form submitted to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) by WGI, Inc., a consulting firm based in West Palm Beach, Florida. The change order modifies Task Assignment No. 12 under FDEP Contract No. CN229 for Project No. 61271C, the Barnacle Pavilion Replacement project located in Barnacle, Florida. The document was executed on April 14-15, 2022, and involves FDEP staff members including Contract Manager Jeffrey Whitfield, Project Manager Theresa Carron, and Budget Representative Diane Langston, as well as WGI representatives including Consultant Jeffrey Bergman, P.E., and Senior Structural Engineer S. Ken Widjaja, P.E.
The change order authorizes a time extension to allow completion of permitting and construction-phase services, extending the task end date from April 30, 2022, to December 30, 2022—an additional 244 days. The extension was necessitated by delays in Department of Environmental Resource Management (DERM) permitting processes. The change order contains no modification to the financial terms; the original task amount of $56,405.42 (consisting of $284.80 in reimbursement and $56,120.62 in fixed fee) remains unchanged. The total task amount with all change orders is $56,353.90, reflecting a net increase of $0.00 for this specific change order modification.

Hi Theresa, I am so glad for the reminder. Yes, we need to extend The FDEP Projects #6i508C, 61271C to 12/30/2022 due to delay/difficulty of the DERM permitting.
Thanks, S. Ken Widjaja, PE, SI

Hey Theresa, I took the liberty of requesting a USACE re‐verification for the dock repair project seeing how the blanket Nationwide Permits (NWPs) lapsed/expired in March. Please see attached and note the new listed USACE permit expiration.
As an update (or lack therefore of) ‐ still no updates from DERM on when we can expect to be added to the agenda. Terribly frustrating!
