About this file
This is Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement No. CN 217 between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and JGP Structural Group, Inc., a consulting firm located at 1221 West Tharpe Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32303. The original agreement was executed on March 3, 2015, for professional architectural and engineering services.
The amendment renews the agreement for a five-year period commencing March 4, 2020, and extending through March 3, 2025, with the Department and Consultant continuing to perform their respective duties under the same terms and conditions as the original agreement. The amendment incorporates updated public records requirements and adds new provisions requiring the consultant to cooperate with the Inspector General in any investigations, audits, inspections, reviews, or hearings, and to impose similar requirements on any subcontractors or subgrantees. Additionally, the amendment replaces the scrutinized companies provision with updated certifications regarding boycotts of Israel and business operations in Sudan, Iran, Cuba, and Syria, with enhanced restrictions applicable if the agreement value exceeds one million dollars. The Department retains the right to immediately terminate the agreement at its sole option if the Consultant is found to have submitted false certifications or becomes subject to any of the identified scrutiny lists during the contract term.
