Construction Administration Proposal
Dear Andy:
For your review, George F. Young has provided a proposal summary and man-hour documentation for the tasks identified below that will be added to Task Assignment 14 as Change Order 1:
• Subtask 2 – Collier County Site Development Plan (SDP) Inspection Fees.
• Subtask 3 – Construction Administrative services for Day Use Area, Boardwalk, and flood plain cross drains. This includes engineering, architectural, and environmental support. Also included in this Subtask is the building permit finalization and close out for the restroom and interpretive pavilion buildings.
• Subtask 4 – Ecological Site Observation Reports.
We propose to utilize McCarthy and Associates (Structural) and Mashayekhi Consultants (Electrical & Mechanical) for the construction administration effort required for the Restroom Building. For the Interpretive Pavilion we will utilize the design team of David Corban Architect, Jewitt Engineering, and Select Structural. The subconsultant entities are not currently on the FDEP lists, therefore their backup material is included in the attached proposal.
Environmental inspections and consultation will be provided by our ecologist, Jeff Churchill. His effort is represented in Subtasks 3 and 4.
Please review the attached Proposal Summary and deliverables. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely, GEORGE F. YOUNG, INC.

Subtask 4: Ecological Observation Description: It is anticipated that during the course of the work it may be necessary from time to time for the project ecologist to visit the site to observe the work conditions. Logical times might be at the beginning/during the wetland fill operations and during the installation of the culverts along Jan’s Scenic Trail. Following each site visit a report will be prepared summarizing the observations and activities ongoing at the time of the site visit. It may also include recommendations for wetland impact reductions should they be warranted.
