About this file
This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form issued by the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles in connection with the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Services for DMV Transformation Effort (DTE) contract opportunity. The certification document requires that any bidder or proposer submitting a response to this RFP must certify their compliance with federal lobbying restrictions and disclosure requirements. The form mandates that the authorized representative of the bidding entity must attest that no federal appropriated funds have been used to pay any person for lobbying activities directed toward federal officials in connection with the contract award, and that the organization will not use federal funds for such lobbying purposes going forward.
The certification requires bidders to disclose any lobbying activities and related expenses if they have used non-federal funds to lobby federal officials regarding the specific contract opportunity. Failure to provide an accurate and timely certification may result in disqualification from consideration or contract termination. This certification is a standard requirement for state and local government contracts and ensures compliance with the Lobbying Disclosure Act and applicable federal regulations governing the use of government funds.
