About this file

This draft Request for Proposal (RFP) solicits proposals for a Gunnery Training Systems Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity contract to implement upgrades, production, and recertification requirements for multiple Army and Marine Corps gunnery trainer programs. The five-year IDIQ contract has an estimated ceiling of $104.5 million and will utilize a single-source approach to provide timely delivery of supplies to all Army and Marine Corps customers. Awardees will be required to make final deliveries no later than two years beyond the end of the ordering period, which closes in the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year 2021. The RFP involves upgrades, production, concurrency upgrades, and Risk Management Framework recertification for gunnery training systems across the Army and Marine Corps.

This WD 0007-4 update brings PIDS Draft Rev – generated at the end of Phase One design period up to the Production Stryker MGS program start baseline. General “housekeeping changes” were made such as providing missing non-government reference documents. This revision updates some TBDs in the PIDS based on the LRIP data collection and IDAGTS design. A current TBD list will be provided to PEOSTI, separately. The Unity periscope FOVs were updated from the LRIP data collection. Additional IDAGTS common requirements were added for Wall Breaching & Bunker Busting and Canister functionality. Room Clearing requirements were added as part of the W.D. item functionality. Also, IDAGTS common clarifications and corrections identified during the IDAGTS design and GAT were incorporated in this update (such as ammo loads, target ranges, and deleting the CPV MAST control).

1.1IDENTIFICATION

[9771] This specification establishes the minimum functional requirements for the Stryker MGS Advanced Gunnery Training System (AGTS) in the Permanent and Mobile configurations.

[9772] The term "Platoon" is used in this Stryker MGS AGTS Prime Item Development Specification to denote an echelon (consisting of three vehicles) consistent with US standard military terminology. It should be noted that "Section" in the context of the Stryker MGS specification consists of two Stryker MGS simulated vehicles. In Crew mode of operation, each individual trainer shall provide the Stryker MGS AGTS crew training defined herein.

[10334] The following list provides a cross-reference between the terrain database names used in this AGTS Specification versus an alternate naming convention.
