About this file

This document contains attachments A-K and N-O for a Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) IFB #159371 for Right of Way Mowing & Litter Removal Services. The attachments include required forms and technical specifications for mowing and maintenance services along Virginia roadways, including detailed diagrams showing mowing requirements for different road configurations, median types, and shoulder areas. Key operational requirements include suspending equipment use on "code red ozone days" in specific jurisdictions during May through September, adherence to the 2011 Virginia Work Area Protection Manual effective January 1, 2021, and coordination with VDOT District Work Zone Safety Coordinators.

The required forms include a Small Business Subcontracting Plan targeting 42% small business participation, Vendor Qualification/Equipment Inventory certification detailing owned/leased equipment, VA State Corporation Commission registration, contact information forms, site inspection certification, subcontractor approval requests, and reference requirements. Technical specifications include detailed sight distance guidelines based on road speed and configuration, with corresponding diagrams showing mowing areas for outside shoulders and medians of varying widths in both cut and fill areas. The attachments establish comprehensive documentation and certification requirements that must be completed by bidders to be considered responsive.
