About this file
This is a Questions & Answers document from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) dated December 17, 2024, addressing questions raised during the pre-bid conference held on December 16, 2024, for IFB-159371 ROW Mowing & Litter Removal Services- Statewide. The document clarifies two specific questions regarding mowing specifications: for LOT 8 (Greensville Secondary Routes), bidders were directed to see an updated Attachment-M for LOTS 8-14, and for LOTS 23-29 in the Farmville residency, it was confirmed that the mowing requirement remains a 9-foot cut rather than a full mow, with acreage calculations based on the 9-foot cut specification.
No pricing terms, set-asides, funding requirements, or other contract terms were discussed in this brief Q&A document. The document appears to be solely focused on technical clarifications regarding mowing specifications for specific geographic lots within the contract scope.

Questions and Answers during the pre-bid conference on December 16, 2024
1. For LOT 8 ( Greensville Secondary Routes) Is it necessary use Slope mower because this year we don’t use.
Answer: Please see updated Attachment-M- LOT-8 to LOT-14 Updated
2. For LOT-23-LOT-29 -In the past for the lots in the Farmville residency we have only been cutting a 9 foot cut. I just need to know if that's the same going forward or will we be doing a full mow like it states in the IFB? The acreage as listed is for a 9' cut.
Answer: It is the same as it has been in the past, 9' cut.
