About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act, issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division. The document establishes prevailing wage rates for service contracts in Michigan counties of Lapeer, Macomb, Oakland, and St Clair (Wage Determination No. 2015-4867, Revision 33, effective 3/30/2026).

The wage determination lists over 200 occupation codes with corresponding hourly rates ranging from $13.63 to $52.92, spanning administrative support, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information and arts, information technology, instructional, laundry and dry-cleaning, machine tool operation, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant and system operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, technical occupations, and transportation/mobile equipment operation. All listed occupations require fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly), vacation accrual of two to four weeks based on tenure, and a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. Computer employees, air traffic controllers, and weather observers have footnoted special provisions regarding exemptions and shift differentials. Hazardous pay differentials of 4 to 8 percent apply to designated positions involving explosives and ordnance. Uniform allowance provisions permit reimbursement of $3.35 weekly for cleaning costs. The document includes conformance procedures for unlisted occupations requiring SF-1444 submission to the Wage and Hour Division within 30 days of contract work commencement.
