About this file
The document is a Certification of Financial Condition form from Brevard County Central Services, designed for vendors participating in the county's Open Enrollment/Benefits Administration Systems solicitation. The form requires potential vendors to certify their financial stability by checking multiple boxes confirming sound financial condition, absence of outstanding liabilities, current tax payments, no ongoing litigation, and authorization to make such statements. Vendors must complete this certification as a condition of contract award, with the understanding that they must notify the Purchasing Manager within 30 days of any material changes to their financial status.
The Financial Stability Clause accompanying the certification emphasizes Brevard County's requirement for vendors to demonstrate financial capacity to perform contract obligations. The county seeks to minimize potential issues by requiring vendors to disclose any legal proceedings that could adversely affect contract performance. The document indicates the Purchasing Manager may request annual recertification of the vendor's financial stability, and vendors must proactively report any conditions that materially alter the statements made in the original certification. This approach ensures ongoing transparency and financial reliability throughout the contract term.
