About this file
This document is Attachment 22 detailing Satellite Accumulation Areas (SAAs) for hazardous waste collection at three facilities, likely in support of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Artesia, NM.
The attachment specifies locations and waste collection requirements for: Building 85 (Auto Shop) with one SAA for hazardous waste including solvent-contaminated materials and used oil/antifreeze recycling; Building 76 (Armory) with two SAAs for weapons cleaning waste and unfired munitions processing; and Building 71 (Fuel Point) with one SAA for gasoline-contaminated materials from tank maintenance. All locations have specific protocols for handling Universal Hazardous Waste (UHW) like aerosol cans and requirements for Environmental Protection Specialist oversight of waste management and recycling operations.
