About this file
This document contains a telephone interview questionnaire and details of a federal contract opportunity for construction of a Low Observable Component Repair Facility at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. The contract opportunity involves construction of a 6,735 square meter facility with three low observable critical repair bays, one wash rack bay, shops, administration spaces, and building systems support. The facility must provide secure and climate-controlled space to accomplish specialized maintenance and repair of F-22A stealth aircraft. The construction is expected to be completed within 730 calendar days. The interview questionnaire provides a template for reference checks on contractors being considered for the opportunity and includes questions about past performance on contract type, period of performance, nature of work, technical quality, responsiveness, planning, staffing, schedule compliance, cost management, problems encountered and resolutions.
