About this file
The document is a Department of Defense (DoD) Contract Security Classification Specification (DD Form 254) related to a federal contract opportunity for engineering and sustainment support for the DoD Secure Access File Exchange (SAFE) system. The DD Form 254 provides security requirements and guidance for the classified contract, including level of safeguarding, facility clearance, permitted access to national intelligence information, and other security requirements. The contract performance is restricted to DISA facilities at Fort Meade, Maryland. The DD Form 254 is for a Task Order under an existing Indefinite Delivery or Multiple Award Schedule Contract, and the security requirements cover all Task Orders under that contract.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation (HC104725R0002) issued by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) for engineering and sustainment support for the DoD SAFE system, which is a large file transfer service available to DoD and Mission Partners. The objective is to maintain and improve this enterprise service. The solicitation utilizes a three-phase proposal and evaluation process.
