About this file
This is a technical specification attachment for palmprint biometric capture devices under the Biometric Capture Device GWAC solicitation issued by the Department of Homeland Security Office of Procurement Operations. The file is an Excel spreadsheet that provides detailed technical requirements and performance specifications for palmprint capture devices that vendors must meet to be eligible for award under the Palmprint device track.
The attachment outlines the functional and technical parameters that palmprint biometric devices must satisfy, including image capture specifications, resolution requirements, scanning capabilities, data output formats, and interface compatibility standards. These specifications serve as evaluation criteria for determining which offeror proposals meet the government's minimum technical requirements. Vendors submitting proposals for the Palmprint track of this multiple-award IDIQ contract must demonstrate that their devices comply with all specifications detailed in this attachment to be considered for the minimum three or more contract awards anticipated within this device category. The technical requirements ensure interoperability, image quality, and performance consistency across awarded vendors' palmprint capture solutions.
