About this file
This is a Buy American Certificate template required under FAR clause 52.225-2 for federal procurement compliance. The document serves as a certification form that contractors must complete to demonstrate compliance with Buy American Act requirements for the procurement of ophthalmologic procedure chairs for the Cheyenne VAMC. The certificate requires the contractor to certify that the end products being supplied are either domestic end products or foreign end products designated as eligible under trade agreements. The document provides standard language and checkboxes for contractors to affirm compliance with domestic content requirements, including certification that articles, materials, and supplies incorporated into the end products comply with Buy American restrictions. This form is a mandatory compliance document that must be submitted as part of the solicitation response and does not itself specify pricing, delivery dates, or technical requirements; rather, it ensures the contractor meets the domestic sourcing obligations established by federal law and regulation for this Department of Veterans Affairs procurement.
