About this file
This is an L&DC (Linen and Dry Cleaning) Inspection Worksheet for evaluating contractor performance at customer locations providing laundry services to the U.S. Army.
The worksheet establishes quality assurance standards across nine Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements with corresponding performance thresholds and inspection methods. Key service requirements include: providing laundry service to Government-authorized customers only per AR 710-4; maintaining contractor personnel appearance and dress code compliance aligned with Army values; folding and bundling finished linens to specified quantities (10 sheets, 10 pillowcases, 5 mattress covers, 5 bedspreads, 5 blankets per bundle) in dry condition without damage or deep creases; exchanging soiled linen for clean, serviceable like items; following TG MED 314 and TRADOC Regulation 350-6 for infectious disease prevention in close quarters; segregating cleaned items from soiled items during transport while maintaining clean items in a protected state; cleaning vehicles with germicidal cleaner daily; and maintaining accountability of Government-owned items. Performance thresholds range from zero valid discrepancies per inspection period for the most critical requirements (disease prevention protocols, item segregation during transport, vehicle sanitization, and asset accountability) to five valid discrepancies allowed for finished linen folding and bundling. Inspection methods are designated as either 100% Inspection or Random Inspection depending on requirement criticality. The form includes signature blocks for the Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE) and Contractor's Representative.
