About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for electrical infrastructure improvements at the Vancouver VA Medical Center. The project scope involves comprehensive electrical system upgrades across multiple buildings, including replacing switchgear in Buildings 11 and 1, upgrading power distribution equipment, replacing/adjusting overcurrent protective devices, providing building lightning protection, and conducting facility-wide ground resistance testing and arc-flash hazard risk assessment.
The related federal contract opportunity (Pre-Solicitation Notice 36C26026R0040) indicates the project is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), with an estimated project value between $5-10 million. The project falls under NAICS Code 238210 with a small business size standard of $19 million, and will require full electrical construction services to correct power distribution deficiencies identified in a prior Wiley-Wilson arc-flash report.
