While attendance is optional, it is highly recommended that participants review project drawings in advance. Due to ongoing veteran care operations, certain facility areas may be inaccessible during the site visit, but such access limitations can be addressed through the technical question period of the solicitation.

Construct Replacement CLC – Complex Care - Site Visit

An organized site visit has been scheduled for 9:00AM ET on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

Attendees will meet in Conference Room 216 in Building 2.

Location:

Lexington VA Health Care System

Franklin R. Sousley Campus

2250 Leestown Road

Lexington, KY 40511

Directions:

When you drive through the Main Entrance to the campus, you will park in Parking Lot C which is located on the opposite side of Building 1. There are multiple entrances into Building 2 from the rear of the facility. Entrance to the engineering suite is unlocked typically after 8 AM.

Contact the Engineering office at (859) 233-4511 x2281 for any day-of questions or directions. For any other inquiries, contact the CS at the email provided on page 1 of the solicitation.

No questions can be answered during the walkthrough. Contractors should submit their questions in writing in accordance with the solicitation. Formal responses to questions received before the cutoff will be provided via amendment to the solicitation on SAM.gov.

NOTE: Although not required, it is highly recommended that those who attend the site visit for this project review the drawings ahead of time. Due to the continued care of our veterans, there may be areas that cannot be accessed during the site visit. Any questions regarding these areas can be addressed during the technical question period of the solicitation.
