Shipping Air Cargo to Thule AB through McGuire AFB, NJ

When cargo is shipped to McGuire AFB for onward movement to Thule AB it is received at the cargo terminal. The personnel on the receiving dock in the cargo terminal are all either military or government personnel. Once the cargo has been received at the dock it will be in-checked and processed in the cargo system for onward movement by air.

Requirements for shipping directly to McGuire AFB:

The shipper needs to ensure each parcel or piece of cargo is advanced in the cargo system (GATES). For more detailed information please reference AFI 24-203 (Preparation and Movement of Air Force Cargo).

Cargo delivery address:

COMPANY NAME – Thule AB 1757 Vandenberg Avenue McGuire AFB, NJ 08641

To ensure correct processing of the cargo please ensure:

- Shipment is advanced in the cargo system (as per instructions above).

- Proper Military shipping labels are attached to the outside of each piece clearly visible to the personnel at the receiving Dock.

- Required documentation is delivered with the shipment – ie DD1149 as well as Shipper’s Declaration for Dangerous Goods, MSDS. All shipments containing material classified as Dangerous Goods must be packaged and certified in accordance with AFMAN 24-204 (Preparing Hazardous Materials for Military Air Shipments – current edition Jul 2017) or IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.

Alternative shipping with assistance from Vectrus Services A/S, US Logistics:

Vectrus Services A/S, US Logistics is located in the cargo terminal at McGuire AFB. In an effort to support outside contractors shipping goods to Thule AB, our assistance can be contracted to expedite cargo arriving at McGuire AFB for onward movement. A Support Agreement with Vectrus Services A/S must be established and with the agreement in place, our office (US Logistics) would be able to offer the equivalent of 3rd party logistics – you would simply ship the package to our attention and we would take care of all steps necessary to get the shipment processed through the McGuire cargo terminal. This includes ensuring shipment is packaged for airlift; advancing the shipment in GATES; issue necessary and required documentation; in-check the shipment at the terminal and ensure it is processed for airlift. Your Support Agreement would be charged time and material for this service.
