STIPULATION OF SETTLEMENT
WHEREAS, the Service Employees International Union, Local 1 (“the Union”) and Allied National Services (“the Employer”) are parties to a collective bargaining agreement (“CBA” or “Agreement”) covering employees working at the Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse in Detroit, MI, which expires at midnight on May 31, 2023; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the parties to extend the terms of the CBA with a scheduled wage increase;
Now therefore, the Employer and the Union agree to extend the terms of the Agreement through May 31, 2024, with the following modification:
a. All employees working for the Employer at the Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse shall receive a wage increase of $0.50/hour effective March 1, 2023.
b. All employees working for the Employer at the Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse shall receive an additional wage increase of $0.50/hour effective September 1, 2023.
c. The current minimum wage rates described at Article XIV of the CBA shall be increased as follows, effective March 1, 2023:
a. For employees hired prior to November 1, 2010:
Classification Minimum Rate Regularly Scheduled Utility Cleaner $25.94 Grandfathered Substitutes (on-call) $23.91
b. For employees hired on or after November 1, 2010:
Regularly Scheduled Utility Cleaner $19.10 Grandfathered Substitutes (on-call) $17.10
d. The minimum wages rates described in paragraph (c.) above shall be increased as follows, effective September 1, 2023:
a. For employees hired prior to November 1, 2010:
Regularly Scheduled Utility Cleaner $26.44 Grandfathered Substitutes (on-call) $24.41
b. For employees hired on or after November 1, 2010:
Regularly Scheduled Utility Cleaner $19.60 Grandfathered Substitutes (on-call) $17.60
