ALAGANIK SLOUGH
Boat Ramp Replacement
Updated 2/9/12
Drawing Errata Sheet**:
1. All mentioning of ‘Forest Service’, ‘Department, ‘engineer’ and ‘owner’ in the plans and specifications shall refer to the Contracting Officer (CO).
2. When the term ‘additive’ is used within plan sheets it shall refer to optional items.
3. All mentioning of additive items in the contract drawings are superseded by the
‘Schedule of Items’ in the solicitation for the correct delineation of base bid and optional bid items.
4. Plan Sheet 3 of 13: Delete note 2, boardwalk project completed 2010.
5. ‘Accessible Loading Platform’ and ‘Loading Platform’ are used synonymously.
6. Plan Sheet 11: Detail ‘Anchor Plate for bolt down connection: Add an additional 5/8” drain hole to side of support post ½” from bottom to provide clear drainage.
7. Plan Sheet 12: AYC curb mounting system does not provide a method for tightening the nut on the 5/8” through-bolt. If Option B is awarded, Contractor shall present a method for holding fast the bolt head to assist in tightening the nut or an alternative curb mounting system for CO approval. If Option B is not awarded, Contractor shall not provide boat ramp planks with bored holes for curb mounting as an alternative system will need to be implemented at a later date.
8. Note 3, Sheet 5: CO will require the top 3” of the 2’ Base Course Layer be Type D-1 to provide a competent finished surface.
9. Plan Sheet 4: 8” depth of D-1 surfacing at boat ramp approach is not scaled properly in ramp profile. 8” depth is required as stated in Note 1, Sheet 3.
10. Plan Sheets 6: The top of footing elevation for the SW corner of the loading platform should be 53.18, the same as the elevation on the SE corner. The footings are accurately depicted in Detail F on Sheet 7 showing each footing at the same elevation.
11. Plan Sheets 6 & 7: Arrows on Sheet 6 pointing to the beginning and end of the retaining wall footing are slightly off. They are spaced correctly at 26 feet, as shown on Sheet 7.
** The purpose of this Errata Sheet is to rectify any changes or inconsistencies between the
Tetra Tech stamped drawings and language included in other documents in the contract package. The Errata Sheet will be included in the contract package to clarify drawing inconsistencies for the contractors.
