About this file
This addendum modifies the Request for Proposal GWCCA102725EC issued by the Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) for fire alarm removal and replacement services across multiple buildings. The project encompasses fire alarm system upgrades in Buildings B, Silver Deck, Orange Building, Centennial Park Vault, and Small Atlanta Centennial Park building, with all systems to be networked and report back to a 3030 panel located in Public Safety. Approximately 25 percent of work is expected during regular business hours (8 am - 5 pm), with the remainder conducted during irregular hours to accommodate ongoing GWCCA events. The contractor must replace all CLIP protocol devices with FlashScan protocol devices and confirm compatibility with the existing ONYXWorks workstation version 4.62.102. Work scheduling must be coordinated around the facility's event calendar, with no predetermined priority order for building completion. Lift storage is permitted onsite for equipment access, subject to freight elevator weight limits of 10,000 pounds and floor loading specifications of 100 psi per square foot.
The addendum clarifies that notification devices and power supplies in Silver Deck may be reused or replaced at the contractor's discretion, and contractors should provide separate pricing for overtime anticipated during nights, weekends, and holidays. A service contract for future support must be submitted as a separate cost proposal, with clarification needed regarding warranty duration and service agreement requirements. All FACPs must be networked together, and contractors are instructed to verify event dates through the GWCCA website to identify potential open labor windows. Signed acknowledgment of this addendum must be submitted prior to the proposal due date or attached to the proposal submission. The original RFP was issued on October 29, 2025, with this addendum issued on December 5, 2025.

ADDENDUM ONE
GEORGIA WORLD CONGRESS CENTER AUTHORITY
FIRE ALARM REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT
RFP GWCCA102725EC
Addendum Issue Date: December 5, 2025
From: Georgia World Congress Center Authority
Purchasing Office 285 International Boulevard NW Atlanta, Georgia 30313
Addendum 1 is hereby issued to incorporate the following as requirements of the Request for Proposal, GWCCA102725EC:
1. The RFP states, “Provide labor for work to be completed during irregular hours.” What percentage of the project is expected to be conducted during the regular hours (8 am – 5 pm)? Maybe 25% but will be determined by events
2. Can you provide us with Fire Sprinkler and Fire Pump reports for each building so we can identify how many modules are needed to supervise these systems? See attached file.
This info is not listed on the Fire Alarm report for Silver Deck. This system is a standpipe system with no pumps or sprinklers.
3. Are the notification devices and power supplies in the Silver Deck to be replaced or reused? That is up to the contractor If replaced, can you provide quantities of devices (not listed on the provided reports)?
4. Can you confirm the version of the 3030 panels you have onsite? ONYXWorks workstation 4.62.102
5. Just to verify, all CLIP protocol devices are to be replaced with FlashScan protocol devices? Yes
6. Networking – Will the FACP’s of Building B, Silver Deck, Orange Building, Centennial Park Vault, and Small Atlanta Centennial Park building be networked? All need to report back to the 3030 panel in Public Safety.
7. Scheduling #1 – Should 2026 GWCCA Event dates via the website that do not involve
Building B be considered open labor dates for the project? Yes, but GWCC needs to confirm availability.
8. Scheduling #2 – With respect to costs, should some anticipated nights/weekends/holiday overtime be included in our proposal? Yes Or listed as a separate cost?
9. Scheduling #3 – Will there is priority listing of scope buildings that we would start with first? No, we will have to work around events. Ex: 1st Building B….2nd Silver Deck…
10. Lift Rental Storage – If a lift rental is required to access some devices, what type of lift are acceptable and are we allowed to store the lift onsite? The fright elevators have a limit of 10000 pounds the Floor is rated at 100psi per square foot. Yes, we can find storage.
11. Service Contract – Do we supply a Service Contract alongside our RFP Proposal for future support? Service contract needs to be a separate cost. If so, how many years should be considered? How long is the warranty and does it require a service agreement?
This addendum will be a part of RFQ GWCCA102725EC and modifies the original proposal documents dated October 29, 2025 as noted.
NOTE: A signed acknowledgement of this addendum should be received by this office prior to the due date or should be attached to your proposal. A signature on this addendum does not constitute your signature on the original proposal document.
