About this file

This is Addendum 3 to the Invitation to Bid issued by the Beaverton School District 48J in Oregon for a public improvement project at Aloha High School involving the construction of athletic facilities. The project scope includes the construction of a new 2,160 square foot pre-fabricated metal indoor batting cage and the addition and remodel of an existing 1,082 square foot stadium concessions building with restroom renovations, along with public improvements to the Madeline Street entrance including entry and sidewalk work. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for November 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Aloha High School Softball Field. Bids are due on December 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM Pacific Time, with a Notice of Intent to Award anticipated on December 19, 2025, and contract execution expected on January 20, 2026. Construction must commence on June 8, 2026, with substantial completion required by August 28, 2026, and final completion by September 18, 2026.

The project requires bid security of five percent with performance, payment, and retention bonds each equal to 100 percent of the contract sum, and contractors must file a $30,000 Public Works Bond. Contractors must be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board and maintain a drug-testing program. The Beaverton School District has established a fifteen percent diversity goal for disadvantaged, minority, women, emerging, and service-disabled veteran-owned business enterprise participation by contract value. Work is subject to prevailing wage requirements under Oregon Revised Statutes using BOLI prevailing wage rates for Region #2. Liquidated damages are assessed at $100 per day for failure to achieve substantial completion by the required date. An Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) will provide commercial general liability and excess liability coverage for enrolled contractors and subcontactors. The project is governed by the 2022 Oregon Structural Specialty Code and applicable Oregon building codes.
