About this file
This Addendum #1 modifies Bid Invitation 171-25 issued by the New Hampshire Division of Procurement and Support Services for two cutaway vans with service bodies, 11,000-pound 2WD DRW units intended for the New Hampshire Department of Transportation's Mechanical Services in Concord. The addendum addresses bidder questions and clarifies specification requirements. The bid closing date remains May 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM Eastern Time. Key clarifications include acceptance of Knapheide service bodies with compartment depth 1 inch smaller than specified, approval of Galvagrip-style pooched bumpers, and modification of ladder rack specifications to permit either roof-top ladder racks with rear-mounted access ladders or side-mounted ladder racks as alternatives. All changes noted in this addendum supersede previously submitted documents and must be included with bid submissions.
The addendum does not contain pricing information, set-aside designations, or funding details, as it serves solely to clarify and modify technical specifications in response to vendor inquiries. Respondents must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing and submitting the included form with their bids. Vendors should reference the complete bid solicitation and all addendums available on the New Hampshire Department of Administrative Services website at https://das.nh.gov/purchasing/vendorresources.asp. The Purchasing Agent for this procurement is Lincoln Adams, contactable at NH.Purchasing@das.nh.gov.

Question 1:
Would you accept a bid for a Knapheide body? Compartment depth is 1” smaller than the spec.
State Response:
The State will accept this modification to the required specification.
Question 2:
Looking for clarification on the pooched bumper terminology, I don’t want to assume, and it looks to be a bumper with holes punched up through creating additional grip like the Galvagrip bumper. Attached is an image for reference.
State Response:
The proposed "Galvigrip" bumper will meet the specification.
